4th of July Safety Awareness!

As we head into the holiday, we have a safety update to ensure everyone stays safe on the road this weekend.
4th of July Holiday Weekend 🎆
The 4th of July is historically one of the more dangerous times on our roadways due to a significant increase in impaired drivers. To minimize our drivers' risk of exposure to alcohol and drug-related incidents, we are asking all drivers to be parked and off the road between 10:00 PM and 5:00 AM local time on the evening of Saturday, July 4.
Law enforcement will be conducting extensive DUI Task Forces and sobriety checkpoints. The safest place to be during those late-night hours is securely parked. We encourage all Driving Associates to work with their driver managers to plan their trips and parking accordingly.
🚨 Things to Watch:
Expect increased traffic from travelers, including many motorists towing trailers, campers, boats, and RVs.
Motorists may be more likely to be distracted, fatigued, or impaired during holiday travel periods.
Security remains a concern. Ensure all trailers are locked and only dropped at Knight secure yards.
Avoid parking loaded trailers at truck stops in California's Central Valley, including Bakersfield, Modesto, Stockton, and Barstow.
Remember: If you are operating under dispatch, alcohol consumption is not permitted under any circumstances.

Thank you, stay safe out there on the road!
