Announcing Joe Vitiritto as President of Knight Transportation

Driving Associates,

I am pleased to announce that Joe Vitiritto has been appointed as President of Knight Transportation, effective February 2, 2026.

Joe rejoined Knight in November 2025 and currently serves as Executive Vice President of Operations Support. This appointment marks a return to familiar ground for Joe, who previously spent 17 years with Knight and Swift from 2003 to 2020, holding a variety of operational leadership roles across the organization. During that time, he built a deep understanding of our business, our people, and what it takes to operate at a high level across a complex network.

Before returning to Knight, Joe served as President and CEO of Pam Transport beginning in 2020, where he led the organization through significant operational and organizational initiatives. His experience leading through change, while maintaining a strong operational foundation, positions him well to guide Knight into its next chapter.

Joe holds a bachelor’s degree in marketing from Iowa State University and brings a leadership style grounded in accountability, collaboration, and execution. Since returning to Knight, he has shared how energizing it has been to once again experience the entrepreneurial spirit and relentless drive of our people, and to see firsthand how teams across the organization continue to look for ways to improve every day.

As President, Joe’s priorities are clear and focused:
