Hey Drivers - quick reminder about Knight's pet policy so everyone stays compliant and safe on the road.

🐾 Approved Pets Only

  • Only domesticated dogs are eligible for the pet program.

  • Maximum weight allowed: 40 lbs or less.

šŸ—’ļø Application Required

  • Before bringing any pet onboard company equipment, you must complete and submit a Pet Approval Application. This application can be found on the Driver Hub under "Forms and Documents" here.

  • Pets are not automatically approved - we evaluate each application before granting authorization.

🚫 Unapproved Pets Are Not Allowed

  • Pets that do not meet the size requirement or that have not been approved via the application process are not permitted in company trucks.

  • Please do not assume approval - wait until you receive official authorization.

šŸ“„ Policy Reference

  • The full pet policy is outlined in the driver guidelines here and can be found under "Forms and Documents" in the Driver Hub.

If you have any questions about the application or how to submit it, reach out to your driver manager.

Thanks for helping keep our equipment and operations professional and consistent! 🚚 🐶

All these people whining about pets being allowed. I’d rather get into a truck that had a pet than someone who smokes. So, let’s ban all tobacco from the trucks! If anything, those with pets that have been authorized should be made to have the interior inspected whenever it goes in the shop to insure the pet and truck is being well cared for.

Agreed let's ban tobacco while we're at it . If that's how some of these associates feel, and see how they react to that , to some people their pets are like their own children and Thier life in a truck is 10 fold better than being kept in a cage at a dog pound or being put to sleep euthanized.

My Truck was a Pet Truck and it was filthy. Until this day I still find hair in random places after I've cleaned it. Y'all should ban pets it's a prison having them ride with you everywhere.

I’m not a fan! When I was looking at a company to go with, this was a deciding factor. I planned on putting my cat in the truck. When I hired on, this was accepted however now they change the policy as I hit my 30k and can have a pet. I would like to remind the people making the policy that they go home at night to their pets. They go home to their bed- not plywood with a prison mattress. They have a full fledge kitchen not a college refrigerator and a microwave. Not to mention a bathroom with a shower and a toilet… I can go on and on however we want a slice from home and…
