Driver Reminder - Pet Policy & Approval Process

Hey Drivers - quick reminder about Knight's pet policy so everyone stays compliant and safe on the road.
š¾ Approved Pets Only
Only domesticated dogs are eligible for the pet program.
Maximum weight allowed: 40 lbs or less.
šļø Application Required
Before bringing any pet onboard company equipment, you must complete and submit a Pet Approval Application. This application can be found on the Driver Hub under "Forms and Documents" here.
Pets are not automatically approved - we evaluate each application before granting authorization.
š« Unapproved Pets Are Not Allowed
Pets that do not meet the size requirement or that have not been approved via the application process are not permitted in company trucks.
Please do not assume approval - wait until you receive official authorization.

Service dogs arenāt pets.
All these people whining about pets being allowed. Iād rather get into a truck that had a pet than someone who smokes. So, letās ban all tobacco from the trucks! If anything, those with pets that have been authorized should be made to have the interior inspected whenever it goes in the shop to insure the pet and truck is being well cared for.
My Truck was a Pet Truck and it was filthy. Until this day I still find hair in random places after I've cleaned it. Y'all should ban pets it's a prison having them ride with you everywhere.
I donāt know about taking a dog in the truck itās like a prison for them
Some of the drivers doesnāt do anything with them⦠poor dogs !!

Iām not a fan! When I was looking at a company to go with, this was a deciding factor. I planned on putting my cat in the truck. When I hired on, this was accepted however now they change the policy as I hit my 30k and can have a pet. I would like to remind the people making the policy that they go home at night to their pets. They go home to their bed- not plywood with a prison mattress. They have a full fledge kitchen not a college refrigerator and a microwave. Not to mention a bathroom with a shower and a toilet⦠I can go on and on however we want a slice from home andā¦
