Knight Driver Marcia Attends TCA's Fall Call in Washington, D.C.

Earlier this month, Knight Driver Marcia Luchenbill (2026 TCA Driver of the Year) attended the Truckload Carriers Association’s (TCA) Call on Washington and Fall Business Meetings. David Tillman (Knight-Swift SVP of Safety) and Jesus Acevedo Soto, or “Avocado” (Swift’s 2026 TCA Driver of the Year) were also present.

She shared that it was a “remarkable couple of days and such an honor to represent Knight and advocate for legislation supporting safety in the trucking industry.” Throughout the event, Marcia networked with key figureheads in the industry - joining discussions about the current state of trucking and policies that could define its future. In her short time there, she capitalized on various opportunities like visiting Capitol Hill and the Canadian Embassy, even listening to a DOT briefing led by Derek Barrs, the FMCSA Director.
