What's New in This Release:
Light and Dark Mode: Drivers now have control over the app's appearance. A new "Theme" option is available in the mobile app's Settings, letting them choose between:
Use device setting - This is the default where the app theme follows the device's system setting (same as before)
Light - forces the app into light mode
Dark - forces the app into dark mode
The app remembers your selected theme across logins and devices, so drivers will always see the same look and feel.
Text Directions: Drivers now have the option to view text directions that correspond to their routes and audible instructions. Text directions are available from both the Route Overview screen and within turn-by-turn navigation. On the Route Overview screen, drivers can tap the Directions button. In turn-by-turn navigation, they can tap the top banner to reveal a drop-down list of directions.
Posted Speed Limit: Drivers will now see the posted speed limit displayed as an icon in turn-by-turn navigation. If no speed limit information is available, the icon will not be shown.
COMING SOON... IN-MOTION PREPLAN MESSAGE!
Drivers will be able to read out the preplan they are being sent. Drivers will be able to replay the message one time or accept/reject the preplan with one tap.
More corporate bs, i never use the table for anything but my clock. I use Garmin and Google for GPS, and phone for the app when I'm stopped. Just more crap to make life rougher on drivers. Thanks for continuing to hose drivers. We're so grateful.
Don’t get why a trucking company’s gps isn’t more accurate. They need to fix that.
1) Option for “Satellite View” for the turn-by-turn navigation. I choose it every time in the “Options” menu and initially it does display the “Satellite View”, but when I hit start, the turn-by-turn reverts to the street map and is unchangeable.
2) Allow default trip settings to be saved in the tablet. Each time you navigate, you must choose “Night Mode” and your preferred “Avoids”. If you choose the same preferences, why can’t they not be permanently saved by the user for subsequent trips?
3) Allow the user to permanently choose what the tablet display settings are. If I manually choose what “Brightness” I desire, what “Screen Timeout” I prefer, and to turn off “Auto Brightness” at some point in…
