We are excited to announce that we have two leadership changes in the West!
Jason Lewis is stepping into the role of Arizona Terminal Manager! 🌵
Bringing nearly a decade of experience at Knight Transportation, Jason has had multiple leadership roles in Operations, Driver Development, and HR - along with a deep passion for supporting our driver associates. Jason is very excited to get back into the operations side of things where he looks to bring his leadership skills learned over the last few years and put them to work. Outside of keeping our operations running smoothly, Jason is an avid golfer who loves heading up north to beat the Phoenix heat!
We are excited for Jason to take his leadership skills to the Arizona team as they look to continue their success and growth.

With Jason’s move into Arizona, we have moved Steve Erkelens over to our biggest terminal in the company, Southern California. 🌴
Steve has been with Knight Transportation since 2017 and has had the opportunity to serve in a variety of roles across the organization. Some of the roles on his journey have included positions as Safety Lead for the Northeast region, Planner for Arizona and Southern California, Account Management Team Lead, Owner-Operator Dispatcher and Operations Manager.
Each role has really helped develop and mold Steve into the leader he is today, which is why we are excited for him to take on our Southern California terminal. What Steve enjoys most about working at Knight is the company culture and the opportunity to teach, mentor, and help others develop in their careers. There is nothing more rewarding to him than watching people grow, gain confidence, and achieve success in their roles.
Outside of work, he enjoys spending time with his wife and two dogs, as well as training in Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu. Steve and his wife are also excited to be welcoming a new addition, with their first child due in December.
We look forward to Steve taking over our SoCal terminal and using his leadership to help getting the business back to growth!
