As part of Driver Appreciation Week, we're excited to announce that we'll be hosting a Truck Rodeo competition at our Phoenix Terminal on Thursday, September 18, from 7-10 AM.

This is your chance to showcase your driving skills, compete alongside your fellow Knight drivers and owner-operators, and have some fun!

✨ Highlights include:

$1,000 Cash Prize for the first-place finisher
Rookie Award - $200 for Best Trainee or Top Gun Student
A great opportunity to connect with other drivers, cheer each other on, and celebrate the incredible skills it takes to be one of the best on the road.

Whether you're ready to compete or just want to come out and support, we'd love to see you there. This is a celebration of YOU - our drivers - and everything you do to keep Knight moving forward.

Another sweet prize Kinight will give to one of the lucky few drivers who get through that terminal. Oh, and almost all the Phoenix guys. Would be nice if when y’all had giveaways and handouts. You could find a way to make all of us potential winners. I have been with Knight for 13 years. Only made it into a shop 3 times during the 2 hour diner thing. Seems like that’s more like Office-shop and dine. Other than that haven’t made any driver appreciation events. Maybe spread it around sometimes. Haven’t made one single company cookout. Always working. So since we’re not there we’re not eligible for the giveaways. Please just make it fair.

We understand that it may be hard for some drivers to get in but if you are near any of our terminals throughout the week, please stop in. ALL DRIVERS ARE ELIGIBLE for the raffles and your names will automatically be put in the raffle drawings. ALL DRIVERS should also make sure to stop in their terminal to make sure to pick up their driver appreciation gift. This can be picked up at any time beginning Sept. 15. We appreciate all you do and make sure to communicate with your DM to see if there is any potential of getting to any of the terminals during the week.

You make it so hard for drivers to compete from other terminals because you can only compete in Phoenix. How about every terminal has a competition and the winners go to Phoenix at a later date and compete against each other for Knight top driver

This is the first year Phoenix will be doing a rodeo. The suggestion came from one of the drivers so we are excited to implement it this year. Let' see how it goes and if it's a success, perhaps other terminals will choose to put one on next year. Make sure to talk to your terminals about your great ideas!
